The C'monback Group

Thanks for seeking information about our Group!  We're a group of recovering alcoholics who gather on the Internet to discuss issues pertaining to our common disease, sharing our experience, strength and hope.  Our group has been part of the Online Intergroup of Alcoholics Anonymous since 25 May 2001.  This group is not meant to take the place of face-to-face AA, but to be an enrichment of our Recovery experience.  We assume all our members are attending face-to-face AA regularly.

There is a new discussion topic each week.  If you'd like to be part of our group, just fill out the form below and you'll gain access to more information about us.

Our intent is to limit discussion to Recovery issues.  We'll become friends and renew friendships too, and can e-mail one another privately.  When you are subscribed, you can send posts to one e-mail address from the e-mail address you registered with.  They'll automatically go to all members of the group.

If you'd like to be part of our group, just fill out the form below and click "Send." You'll also affirm that you have a desire to stop drinking (Third Tradition) and that you agree to hold group posts and identities as confidential.

As soon as we receive your request, we'll get back to you with full details of how you can become a member!

This group is open to anyone with a desire to stop drinking.  We have no outside affiliations, take no position on outside issues.  Our primary purpose is to carry the AA message to other alcoholics and to those who still suffer.  We have no public relations policy except attraction.  We maintain personal anonymity at the level of press, radio-TV and film.  We are self-supporting through our own contributions.  There are no dues or fees connected with membership. We subscribe to the Twelve Traditions of the Program of Alcoholics Anonymous.  These pages are not endorsed nor approved by Alcoholics Anonymous World Services, Inc. They are solely provided as part of this group's 12 Step work in reaching out to the alcoholic who still suffers.
